i have been at camp for 3 and a half weeks now. i get home this saturday and im and extremely excited. i miss my family very much and also my dear friends from home. however, returning home does have its downfalls. it means that school will start very shortly. i will also miss some staff members and counselors that i have met up at camp. but life goes on...
i have come to appreciate my hometown the more i am away from it. i no longer have a distaste for the county in which i was raised. there is a heritage in san juan capistrano that is like none that i have found anywhere else. orange county is looked at among other people as a wealthy county full of snobs and ignorant fools. that is not entirely true. though, every rose does have its thorns...there are some stupid people that live there but the majority love and care for each others needs. it is hard to go back to school each fall and leave those that i love back home. i hope to still live in orange county after i am done with school. it will be hard to manage but if it is in the cards then that will be much appreciated.
